Is the M3 MacBook Air easy to use?
Devindra Hardawar, Engadget’s resident laptop expert, writes. Fundamentally, both are great machines, but may lack some of the wow factor that the M2 Airs had when they debuted in 2022. After all, the M2 heralded a new industrial design and better internals, while the M3 is more of an iterative update. Think of it like the year of the iPhone S, when there was a dramatic redesign (like the iPhone 4), followed by a more refined model the following year (the 4S).
So reviewing the M3 was an exercise in finding subtle differences, like faster Wi-Fi (6E), a brighter display, and faster processing. Benchmarks find both machines ahead of the M2, but if you use this machine casually, you might not notice.Devendra is obviously happy to be able to run a game like this death stranding On a fanless ultraportable notebook. You can and should read on to find out whether the M3 is a must-buy.
